August 28th, Revelation

A funny thing happened this Sunday.  It wasn't until after I preached at the 9:30 that some things began to make more sense and settle in for me.  So, the 10:50 message was different.  Here are some key points and a challenge... 

We are to be the "aroma of Christ"  Aroma is caught by being near and spending time with something.  Are you engrossed in the presence of God in such an intimate way that you carry around the aroma? 

Thought:  Faith does not exist without Trust; Trust rarely exists without Experience; and Experience is the direct result of Relationship

1 - This was really challenging to me. Honestly there are too many days that pass that I think about my need to spend more time in God's presence, seeking him, listening to him. Too often if you really look close the aroma surrounding me is my own self-pride. (Comment this)
