Testify with Prayer

Text:  Acts 4:23-31

Be bold.   Pray for boldness - for yourself and for each other.  We need to challenge each other and most of all pray for each other.

Dive into the power, wisdom and love of God.  Watch for His answer and know that when you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit, you will be filled - not just once, but whenever you need it.  Prayer slays fear, like paper covers rock.

Go and be bold.  Know a friend who doesn't know Jesus?  Earn the right to talk to them about Jesus and then take that step.    Don't know how?  Pray for boldness.  You can also ask a few Christian friends to be in prayer.

Have a great week - Tina

1 - I have to admit that I was distracted by the verses in Acts that we were using, I kept thinking what a great verse to use to show someone who doesn't believe in the Trinitarian Godhead. All three are right in those verses. I kind of focused on that for a while, until Pastor Dean said he could make volcanos erupt....then I was tracking right with him! (Comment this)

2 - Went back and looked at the verses and I can see your point Leo. Yesterday I was sitting listening to Chad's bible study and something clicked about the phrase God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Interesting that this unpacks that thought too. Somehow in my head I always thought of them as separate as in the father, the son, the holy spirit.

For about three minutes after Pastor Dean shared that volcano story I was thinking how awesome and fearful would that be if, in the midst of worship, something as catastropic like that would happen. (Comment this)
